Background.

Angelisa is a Helen Hayes award nominated director, choreographer, arts administrator and former business professor based out of Washington, DC. Her direction and choreography has been seen at many DC area theaters including Arena Stage, Studio Theatre, Signature Theatre, Constellation Theatre Company, 1st Stage, and Mosaic Theater Company. She has also directed, choreographed and been on the business school faculty at several DC area colleges and universities.

As the former Director of Education and Engagement at Mosaic Theater Company, Angelisa utilized her experience as an educator, artist and business professional to establish a playwriting contest, lead the internship and fellowship program, facilitate panel discussions and events, contribute to the strategic planning and season planning processes, create and manage partnerships with other organizations, and manage the curation and execution of all online and in-person audience engagement events. As a former business professor, she has an extensive background in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, process analysis, and organizational and functional strategic analysis. Angelisa has an MBA, PhD in business (supply chain management and logistics) and MFA in directing.
