Tonia Kallon is a talent and organization development strategist, writer, and employer branding specialist. Passionate about creating equitable and inclusive workplace experiences, the common thread in her work is creating meaningful connections through strategy, engagement, and storytelling. To do this, she relies on an empathetic, solutions-oriented mindset that centers around people, data, and learning.
Tonia has more than 10 years of experience identifying, selecting, and engaging top talent in the nonprofit and social impact sector with the mission of positioning people to leverage their strengths for impact. She has held HR and people operations leadership roles that defined and shaped employee experience and culture initiatives. Her work has advanced sustainability for mission-focused organizations.
Tonia earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communication, specializing in public relations, from Towson University and a master’s degree in education and human development, specializing in organizational leadership and learning, from The George Washington University. Additionally, she is a SHRM-certified human resource practitioner and certified social media specialist.
When she’s not working, Tonia enjoys blogging, curating playlists, and recreating recipes from Pinterest and TikTok. Forever an arts enthusiast, she has formal training in several acting styles, including improv and voiceover.
