A career highlight was her experience as a member of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Foundation Development Team. In her role, she contributed to marketing, donor acquisition/management, and contact database management efforts.

When Devan is not working, she enjoys mentoring young professionals and cycling. She is a Washington D.C. area native, wife of 13 years, and mom of two sons.
